Back again

Well here I am again after a long, long hiatus. Why you may ask? Was he so stoned that he couldn't type? Or was he so satisfied with his pot recipes that he couldn't stop eating long enough? To tell the truth it was neither. I was in the real world working for a living. Time has finally come for me to relax and do what I want, that is kick back and enjoy life. I retired a few months ago so I have the time to write and have fun.
Out here in California, where I live, Medical Marijuana is legal. Not only in it's normal green form but as oil and as edibles. Yup, it's true, here you can go into a dispensary and buy a brownie, candy or even ice cream. Can you imagine taking care of the munchies before they start! Well I tried it. Didn't work. Sure the brownie was potent but let me tell you it didn't take away the munchies, just made them worse.
Anyway just thought I'd let you know I'm here and would love to hear from you, especially the stories that go along with the recipes. Thanks and happy eating.

Well first let me say that this is the first time that I've ever blogged anything. I don't have any idea what I'm doing. So please if you read this please make it easy for me with suggestions etc. Here I go...... Back in the sixties there was a time when we didn't have too much money. In times of no pot this would be a disaster. Walking around moaning and groaning about how empty our stomachs were. That would be intolerable. In these hard times we were saved by marijuana. Yup, pot, weed, smoke, ganga, well you get the idea. Smoke some weed and get a roaring case of the munchies. Anything would work and taste good, not only good but gourmet. I'll give you an example of necessity. We had been out of money for awhile and hadn't eaten a real meal for it seems an eternity. We were sitting at the dining room table one morning and were smoking a joint. Of course we got the munchies. Went to the cupboard and like Old Mother Hubbard it was bare. Well not completely. We had some flour, salt, and a teaspoon or so of oil. Well that sounded like pancakes to us. Well we mixed it together and gave it a shot. We also dropped some food coloring and swirled it when we poured the pancakes. It really looked psychodelic. They were wonderful. Couldn't eat enough. They were flat, tasteless but colorful and incredibly mouthwatering. Hooray for pot. I know, I know not to much. Well they'll be more to follow and hopefully your stories and recipes. See ya.
